SANTA FE, N.M. (KRQE) – Santa Fe County is launching a new initiative to give kids a hands on lesson in civics. At select early voting locations, kids will be able to come with their parents or guardians to the polls and cast a mock vote. The county clerk's office says each child will receive a special prize and future voter sticker. The program will be available at the Santa Fe County Clerk's office and the Nancy Rodriquez Community Center. The initiative will be running through the early voting period.
