ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – More meals will be going to New Mexicans facing food insecurity after a recent fundraising campaign by the Food Depot raised a record-breaking amount. The money is expected to help provide about 1.9 million meals to New Mexicans in need. The nonprofit says more than 100 neighborhoods, community groups and business took part in the fundraiser. The Food Depot serves as the food bank for nine counties in northern New Mexico.
