CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Multiple people were rescued after a fire broke out at an apartment complex in southeast Charlotte. The fire started early Wednesday morning at Rise Blue Ridge apartments on Wallace Road near East Independence Boulevard. Structure Fire update: 7200 block of Wallace Rd. 60 Charlotte firefighters control fire in 50 minutes. Multiple rescues were performed with multiple patients transported by @Medic911Press for evaluation at local hospitals. Multiple rescues were performed. MEDIC says two patients were transported to local hospitals with serious injuries and two additional patients were transported with non-life threatening injuries. The fire is still under investigation at this time. Check back for updates.
