BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — Police arrested a man accused of a drive-by shooting on LSU's campus during the Tigers' homecoming football game against Ole Miss. Kajhon Lee, 21, of Baton Rouge, was arrested on Oct. 15 on charges of aggravated criminal damage to property, illegal use of weapons or dangerous instrumentalities, possession of a firearm or carrying concealed weapon by a person convicted of certain felonies, illegal carrying of a weapon, attempted second-degree murder and assault by a drive-by shooting. On Saturday, LSU Police Department officers were called to a reported shooting at the Aster Street North Lot on campus. Officers reviewed surveillance footage and saw an occupant in the passenger seat of a silver Toyota Camry shooting at a group of pedestrians. Police said two individuals from the group returned fire, hitting the vehicle and shattering the rear window. Police said stray bullets damaged at least six vehicles. The arrest warrant states the vehicle fled the scene, heading north on Highland Road. On Oct. 15, witnesses identified Lee as the shooter in the passenger seat. Police confirmed Lee's identity after investigators found a social media post he posted of himself on the university's campus. The clothes in the photo matched the suspect's clothes in the suspected vehicle's passenger seat. Sheriff: 4 from Louisiana, 1 from Wisconsin arrested, accused of preying on kids online Lee was booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish. A bond has not yet been set, according to jail records.
