Want fun fall family photos? Take pictures at Baton Rouge pumpkin patch, help local groups

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — The Pumpkin Patch at Jefferson United Methodist Church in Baton Rouge is back and bigger than ever. There are over 2,400 pumpkins and an area where families can take pictures.
Proceeds from the patch support local organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, Hope Ministries, UMC Children's Home and others.
The church address is 10328 Jefferson Highway, between Bluebonnet and Airline. The patch is on the ball field behind the sanctuary. Hours are noon until 6 p.m. Sunday through Friday and from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturdays.
Families are also invited to come out and enjoy a Trunk-or-Treat event for school-aged kids on from 4-6 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 20.
