BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- We will start out sunny today, then some clouds will increase by afternoon. A front moving into the northern part of the state could bring a slight chance of showers to the area by tonight. We will keep the cooling trend in place and by Friday temps will be in the upper 60's to lower 70's. Ridging will build back by the weekend with 80's returning. We have also issued a High Wind Warning for the Desert areas from 8 p.m. tonight, through Friday.
