OBETZ, Ohio (WCMH) – A woman appeared before a judge Wednesday morning after she admitted to killing her two-year-old son, just south of the city of Columbus. According to court documents, Lemou Cire, 39, is facing charges of aggravated murder for allegedly killing her son, Ibiahim Dieng, Tuesday morning at around 11:30 a.m. City of Obetz police officers responded to the 4400 block of Holstein Drive, where Cire said she purposely suffocated her two-year-old son. A police report stated that Cire admitted to placing her hand over the mouth of Dieng, while placing the other hand over his nose, to stop his breathing and resulting in his death. Ohio man denied seat on village’s council for being gay, ACLU says A Franklin County Municipal Court judge issued Cire a $1 million bond and ordered her to next appear in court on Oct. 25 for a preliminary hearing.
