CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Multiple people were rescued during an overnight two-alarm residential fire in southeast Charlotte, the Charlotte Fire Department said Wednesday morning. Crews responded to calls regarding the incident around 3 a.m. at a residence near 7200 Wallace Road in southeast Charlotte. The three-alarm fire was contained within 50 minutes by 60 firefighters. Credit: CFD Multiple rescues were performed and multiple patients were transported to area medical center to be evaluated. Medic confirmed two people were transported with serious injuries and two others were transported with non-life-threatening injuries. CFD has had a busy couple of days, responding to two other major fires within the last 24 hours.
