(KRON) -- A vehicle crashed into the Community First Credit Union bank on Tuesday in Novato, the Novato Police Department (NPD) said. The bank, located at 1539 S Novato Blvd., suffered a shattered window on the side of the building, NPD said. Upon investigation, the driver of a Chrysler PT Cruiser "accidentally pressed the accelerator instead of the break." The vehicle then crashed into the building.
