PORTSMOUTH, R.I. (WPRI) — A massive fire ripped through a home in Portsmouth Tuesday night.
Flames could be seen shooting from the Sea Spray Drive home, which burned down to its frame.
Assistant Fire Chief Howie Tighe told 12 News the home was under construction and no one was inside at the time.
Tighe said the flames spread to two neighboring homes, both of which sustained minor heat damage. No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time. Tighe said the home has been deemed a total loss.
