GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) — The Bay-Lakes Council celebrated generations of scouting on Tuesday, with some Packers joining in the festivities. Jayden Reed and Antonio Freeman were present to help raise funds for the more than 8,000 boys and girls served by the Bay-Lakes Council. The event featured a variety of displays showcasing the history of scouting, as well as auctions of Packers memorabilia. NFC North flexing its muscles early with each of its four teams at least two games above .500 “The fans and donors do an incredible job supporting us, so it’s always wonderful to come back and meet them in person,” said Reed, a Packers wide receiver. Venture “Into The Magic” as Disney on Ice comes to Green Bay’s Resch Center Former Packers wide receiver Freeman echoed Reed’s sentiments, saying, “Giving back is always rewarding. The Green Bay community and the Packers have helped us feel complete after leaving the game, so whenever we have the chance to return for a community event or fundraiser, it’s an added bonus.” All the funds raised on Tuesday will be allocated to local Boy and Girl Scout groups.
