(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Pikes Peak Library District (PPLD) Board of Trustees will vote on the future of the Rockrimmon branch on Wednesday, Oct. 16. In a report released in July, both the Rockrimmon and Ruth Holley branches were earmarked for possible closure, due to those locations occupying rented space rather than being owned by PPLD. PREVIOUS COVERAGE: Some Pikes Peak libraries might be forced to close In the board's agenda for the Oct. 16 meeting, the Rockrimmon location is up for a decision on renewing its lease. The meeting will take place at 5 p.m. on Wednesday at Library 21C, 1175 Chapel Hills Drive, and virtually via Zoom, which you can join here once the meeting is live. The meeting is open to the public.
