Vice president candidate Sen. JD Vance is holding a Mom Vote Town Hall Tuesday night at the Union League Liberty Hill in Lafayette Hill, Whitemarsh Township, Montgomery County. Moms for America is hosting the event. Protesters were seen holding up posters at the entrance to the Lafayette Hill country club. It was scheduled to start at 6 p.m. His visit comes a day after his running mate, former President Donald Trump, held a town hall at the  Greater Philadelphia Expo Center and Fairgrounds at Oaks in Upper Providence Township. Vance held a town hall Saturday, Oct. 12, in Berks County at Reading Regional Airport. Vice President Kamala Harris is scheduled to campaign in the Philadelphia area on Wednesday. Onotse Omoyeni, Pennsylvania rapid response director for Harris for President, issued a statement ahead of the Vance event’s start. “Trump and Vance’s Project 2025 agenda would be a disaster for Pennsylvanian women, from banning abortion nationwide – including in Pennsylvania – to threatening access to IVF and contraception,” Omoyeni said in a statement. “There’s only one way to stop him: make our voices heard at the ballot box and rally behind Vice President Kamala Harris, who will protect our freedoms, lower costs and be a president for every American.” The Vance town hall event got underway a little after 6:30 p.m. with a Ben Franklin impersonator followed by comments from the president and vice president of Moms of America.
