Auburn girl dies after she was struck by car while riding bike

Auburn, N.Y. — A 15-year-old Auburn girl died this week from injuries she suffered when she was struck by a car while riding her bike late last month, police said.The girl, Mercedes Falcone, was riding her bike on Sept. 28 at Perrine and Washington streets, according to James Slayton, the chief of the Auburn Police Department.
