Springfield Rescue Mission annual hygiene drive for those in need

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - The Springfield Rescue Mission has launched its annual Operation Hope Tote Campaign that will run through November 15th.

According to the Springfield Rescue Mission, this campaign is an opportunity for community members to help the homeless men, women, and children in the city. This is a chance for groups like schools, churches, and workplaces to get involved with the community.
To participate, all you need to do is fill up a bag or multiple bags with new t-shirts, socks, toiletries, and/or hygiene items. Some must-need hygiene items include the following:
Toothbrushes
Toothpaste
Shampoo
Conditioner
Soap/body wash
Hand/body lotion
Deodorant
Lip balm
Body powder
Disposable razors
Socks
Brush and comb
Tissues
Once the bag(s) are filled up, they can be dropped off at 10 Mill Street in Springfield during their donation hours of Monday through Sunday, 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
The Springfield Rescue Mission is a leader in meeting the needs of the poor and homeless in Greater Springfield. They provide food, shelter, clothing, medical attention, Christian counseling, literacy training, and advocacy through its Emergency Shelter, Give-Away Center, Mobile Feeding Program, Rehabilitation Center, and Transitional Living Facility – all for free.
