ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Albuquerque police have arrested a man in connection to a fatal shooting Sunday night. Around 8 p.m. on Sunday, police responded to a shooting at Eighth Street SW. and Dolores Huerta in southwest Albuquerque. APD tracks down suspect in teen’s murder after finding car on Facebook Marketplace According to a criminal complaint, surveillance footage showed Paul Ortiz walking out of the Circle K gas station. Police said the video showed Ortiz being approached by a man on a bicycle and the two talked for a few seconds. They said Ortiz then shot the man twice before fleeing. Ortiz denied being at the scene while speaking with police the next day. He is being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center and is facing a murder charge.
