RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- Are you looking for something to do this Halloween season that will get your blood pumping? Already tired of carving pumpkins and eating too much candy? Here are a few places in and around Richmond where you can get your scare on. 8News has compiled a list of several frightening events you can check out this spooky season. LIST: Where to find the perfect pumpkin near Richmond this Halloween Given the nature of these activities, it's recommended that you do your own research before attending to ensure they're right for you. 🧟 Terror On The Farm, Hanover 🕸️ Ashland Berry Farm, located at 12607 Old Ridge Rd. in Hanover County, has transformed into a frightful Halloween destination. This year, the farm is offering a total of four haunted attractions: Booger Woods, Reaper's Revenge 3D, Clown Rehab and Phobia Manor. "From twisted clowns to phobia-inducing scares, we deliver high-energy frights to keep you on the edge of your seat," the farm said. Ticket pricing varies depending on which day you'd like to visit. Available dates are Fridays through Sundays through the beginning of November, with select Thursdays also available closer to Halloween. For more information and to purchase tickets, click here. ⚰️ Haunts of Richmond Ghost Tours, Richmond 👻 While you can enjoy the ghost tours of Haunts of Richmond year-round, the Halloween season is the perfect time to learn more about what goes bump in the night in Virginia's capital city. Haunts of Richmond has operated since 2004 and touts its staff as "the most experienced and knowledgeable ghost guides in Richmond." For more information and to purchase tickets, click here. 🕷️ Creepy Hollow Scream Park, Hanover ☠️ Creepy Hollow Scream Park, located at 14437 Stone Horse Creek Rd. in Hanover County, is a terrifying Halloween attraction that features live actors, animatronics, illusions and "acres of screams." Attendees can take a chance in the Scream Forest, described as a thrilling experience where daring visitors are left in the woods, on foot, "where no one cares if you scream." This year, Scream Forest has been expanded to include a bonfire where you can take a break in the middle of your journey and enjoy some treats on the midway. Other attractions include Stone Horse Creek Sanitarium, Axl's Dark Carnival and a new trail, Phobia X. Creepy Hollow Scream Park operates on select nights throughout October and into the beginning of November. For more information and to purchase tickets, click here. 🎃 Halloween Haunt at Kings Dominion, Hanover 🦇 Halloween Haunt has returned to Kings Dominion in Hanover County. There are multiple Halloween events running at the park this year, but those who choose to participate in Haunt are in for a scare. At 6 p.m. on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, starting Sept. 20 and ending Nov. 3, Kings Dominion transforms into something far more spooky. Offerings include several haunted mazes, scare areas and more. Haunt, as well as all other Halloween events, are included with the price of admission. For more information and to purchase tickets, click here. 🔮 Ghosts Walk At Night at Hanover Tavern, Hanover 🌕 The Hanover Tavern, located at 13181 Hanover Courthouse Rd. in Hanover County, will host "Ghosts Walk At Night" on Oct. 20, 21 and 22. This event will include "ghostly guided tours" of the tavern itself, the Hanover Courthouse and the Old Stone Jail. "Along the way, you’ll meet a ghastly cast of characters as they recount ghostly tales of actual events and recorded paranormal activity at these locations by Transcend Paranormal," an event page from the tavern reads. Haunts of Richmond said on its website that it will be present at this event. Tours will run from 7 to 10 p.m. on each of the three days. Tickets are $20. For more information and to purchase tickets, click here. 🤡 Tunnel of Terror at Tommy's Express, Chesterfield 🎭 The Tommy's Express car wash located at 10100 Hull St. in Chesterfield County will transform into a tunnel of scares on select dates this spooky season. "We'll make you scream for the clean at our haunted car wash tunnel event," Tommy's Express said. Interested scare-seekers can visit this haunted car wash from 7 to 10 p.m. on Oct. 18. 19, 25 and 26. General admission is $25, while Tommy's Express unlimited members get in for free. Tickets are not available for purchase in advance. For more information, click here.
