Another cold night is coming up, with the opportunity for frost, especially in outlying areas.
Sunny skies will continue through the weekend, with no rain in sight – some models suggest a lack of measurable rainfall all the way until Halloween!
This means continued good viewing of the comet C2023/A3, visible in the western sky shortly after sundown through next week.
The comet will get higher in the sky and set a little later each day, but it will also get fainter as we progress into the second half of the month.
