SWAT roll declared in Gentilly Woods neighborhood

NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — The New Orleans Police Department was on the scene of a SWAT roll in the Gentilly Woods area on Tuesday, Oct. 15.
According to the NOPD, officers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance around 7:51 a.m.
NOPD officials said SWAT roll was called around 11:35 p.m. after officers received information that the suspect reportedly went to a home in the 5100 block of Montegut Drive and was possibly armed.

NOPD officers said they tried to contact the subject but were not successful, causing them to go into the home.
According to the NOPD, officers "determined that the subject was not at the location" after investigating.
The investigation is ongoing, and additional information was not released.
