NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — We are still waiting on the big surge of fall air Tuesday evening but it's not too far away with dewpoints in the 30s up along the I-20 corridor. That next air mass will be moving south as we head through early Wednesday morning. Expect gusty conditions as the front moves through with winds out of the north gusting into the 20s and maybe even low 30s on the south shore near the lake. Temperatures will be falling into the upper 40s and low 50s north and mid 50s south by Wednesday morning. Wednesday afternoon temperatures will struggle to climb above 70. Expect a chilly morning Thursday with lows in the low 40s north and mid to upper 40s south. Metro Nola will still be in the 50s. Pleasant weather sticks around through Friday before we start to warm up more heading into the weekend. No rain chance anytime soon so conditions will stay very dry.
