Photo by Alan Keays/VTDiggerVermont State Police said they have identified the man fatally shot Monday in Waterbury as a New Hampshire resident and officially ruled his death a homicide. Shawn Spiker, 34, of Croydon, New Hampshire, died from multiple gunshot wounds, according to a Vermont State Police press release issued Tuesday evening. Another man, identified Tuesday as Michael Perry, 36, of Barre City, was critically wounded in the shooting, according to police. He was listed in stable condition at University of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington as of Tuesday evening, police said. READ MORE Maj. Dan Trudeau, head of the state police criminal division, said during a press briefing Monday afternoon that the shooting took place around 12:45 a.m. Monday at the Kneeland Flats Trailer Park.
