Update October 15 at 5:15 p.m.The Lexington Police Department says that around 3 p.m. there was a crash involving two vehicles, one of which ended up on its side with two passengers inside.Police say that the passenger of the vehicle that was on its side was able to get out on their own, while the driver had to be helped out.The passenger was reported to be okay, while the driver sustained non-life-threatening injuries.According to lexwrecks, all lanes of New Circle between Young Drive and Liberty Road have been reopened.Original story:The outer loop of New Circle Road at Young Drive is currently shut down as of 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday due to an injury collision, Lexwrecks reported.Lexwrecks detailed that one vehicle is reportedly on its side and traffic is being diverted to Palumbo Drive.
