INDIANAPOLIS — A pedestrian was struck by a semi on Interstate 465 Tuesday afternoon. Indiana State Police confirmed the crash happened near mile marker 53 on I-465 westbound on the south side of Indianapolis. Mile marker 53 is located near where I-465 and Interstate 65 meet. ISP could not specify the severity of the pedestrian's injuries. State police have confirmed that the crash unfolded around 1:48 p.m. As of this article's publication, no additional information on the incident had been made available. As of 3 p.m., all lanes of the I-465 westbound in the area were open to normal traffic.
