WELLS COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) -- The Wells County Sheriff's Office is investigating an armed robbery Tuesday that happened overnight in southern Wells County. According to a Facebook post from the department, deputies responded to the 10000 block of County Road 1100 S. Detectives learned the robbery happened overnight, and there is no threat to the public, according to the Wells County Sheriff's Office. The investigation is still in the preliminary stages, and the Wells County Sheriff's Office may issue additional press releases in the future.
