COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Governor Henry McMaster is among a group of governor’s defending Tennessee’s “Help Not Harm” bill. The measure prohibits physicians from performing or providing gender reassignment surgeries, puberty-blocking drugs, and cross-sex hormones to minors. The law is being challenged in the U.S. Supreme Court. Opponents of the law say it violates the 14th amendment of the constitution which says that no state shall deprive a citizen of life, liberty, or property without due process of law.
