COLLETON COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – Two men were critically injured during a crash that involved a moving truck Monday night on I-95. Colleton County Fire Rescue said the crash happened in the southbound lanes around 6:30 p.m. when the box-style truck left the roadway and struck several trees on the right shoulder. The truck was heavily damaged and the front was ripped open, causing the full load of furniture and household goods to spill. It then rolled over on its side and caught fire. Officials said the truck was consumed in flames when crews arrived. Part of the load and the surrounding woods were also on fire.
