Couple found dead in Greensburg home in apparent murdersuicide, sheriff says

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — The St. Helena Parish Sheriff's Office is investigating after two were found dead in a home in Greensburg.
According to the sheriff's office, around 11:30 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 11, deputies were called to conduct a welfare check in the 21100 block of Louisiana Highway 43 in Greensburg.
Upon arrival, deputies found Billie Miller and Richard Miller, Jr. dead. During an investigation, deputies believe Richard shot and killed Billie before shooting and killing himself.
St. Helena Parish Sheriff Clay Chutz said, "This was a very tragic incident. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family."
