(KRON) – Fire crews rescued an individual on a cliff near Davenport Beach, according to Cal Fire.  On Monday night, Santa Cruz fire crews were alerted of a person trapped at Davenport Beach.  The Santa Cruz Fire Department and the Santa Cruz County Sheriff's Office officials responded to the scene and noticed the person 200 feet down the cliff. Authorities said the person was stranded for at least two hours.  What is a fire weather watch? Firefighters used a high-angle rope from the top of the cliff to rescue the individual. According to authorities, the rescue took around 25 minutes.
