Democratic presidential nominee Vice President Kamala Harris will make a stop in Bucks County on Wednesday afternoon, her campaign announced Tuesday. The campaign did not reveal details about the visit, including location, only saying it was a “campaign event.” A source familiar with the plans told the Philadelphia Inquirer that the event would take place in Washington Crossing. It will be Harris’ eleventh visit to Pennsylvania since she launched her campaign this summer after President Joe Biden dropped his re-election bid, according to the campaign. The visit comes amid a flurry of campaign activity around the state for the presidential campaigns. Republican presidential nominee former President Donald Trump held a town hall campaign event in Oaks, Montgomery County, on Monday night. Bucks is considered a key swing county — the last in the Philadelphia region — that could determine the outcome of the presidential race in the state. Trump lost the county in 2016 and 2020, but by much narrower margins than other Philadelphia area county.
