Hours before her disappearance, Olmos Park realtor Suzanne Simpson told her mother via phone that her husband had physically abused her, the Express-News reports. The revelation in the missing person case came during a Sunday vigil at San Antonio's Lourdes Grotto, where Simpson's mother recalled a phone call she had with her daughter prior to her Oct. 6 disappearance. "She called me up and told me the things Brad had done to her physically," Simpson's mother, Barbra Clark, said during the vigil, the daily reports.
