LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – An early morning car accident involving two vehicles sent two people to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to Lexington police. It happened at the intersection of Sandersville Road and Citation Boulevard. Dispatchers received the call at 7:00 AM on Tuesday. The incident led to a temporary closure of the roadway to allow for cleanup, which lasted about an hour. Authorities have indicated that no charges are expected to be filed at this time.
