BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — The Southern University football team takes on the Alcorn State University Braves for homecoming on Saturday, Oct. 19. Head coach Terrence Graves will speak with the media during a press conference on Tuesday to talk about the recent win against Texas Southern University and the upcoming matchup against the Braves. The Jaguars upset the Tigers in an overtime victory with a final score of 22-19. Starting quarterback Noah Bodden threw for 181 yards with one passing touchdown. The Jaguars' defense held the Tigers' quarterback to only 90 passing yards. Southern ranks second in the SWAC West behind their upcoming opponent, Alcorn State.
