MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (WCBD) – A new Trader Joe’s is coming to Mount Pleasant by the end of the week. The second location at 1909 N. Highway 17 Suite C will open for business Friday in Sweetgrass Corner. Officials will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the 12,500 square-foot space right before doors open at 8 a.m. Store manager Chris Spina and store employees will be onsite to assist customers at the new store. Owners expect to hire 80 local crew members, which the company is still hiring for.
