PHOTOS: Prince George's County patrol officers rescue injured hawk

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) -- Patrol officers in Prince George's County rescued an injured hawk from the roadway Monday morning.
The Prince George's County Police Department (PGPD) said the patrol officers found the injured hawk on Martin Luther King Jr. Highway.
Fairfax County police give driving safety tips amid deer breeding season
With some help, the officers safely took the hawk to Frisky's in Howard County for rehab.

"Thanks to teamwork, the hawk is on its way to recovery," PGPD stated in an X post.
