ROCHESTER, NY (WROC) - The bulk of the system has moved to our east, bringing some snow to the higher elevations. We will stay mostly dry throughout the overnight hours, which will allow for our temperatures to drop into the low 40s. Tuesday and Wednesday will feature much of the same we experienced today, only with lower rain chances. With the bulk of the storm moved out of the area comes the potential of lake-enhanced rain showers. Unlike this morning, showers will remain scattered. This means it will not rain all day and will not be as widespread as this morning's rain. Highs for both Tuesday and Wednesday will likely remain in the upper 40s, potentially reaching that 50° mark. Overnight lows will drop into the upper 30s for both nights. 8-Day Forecast Our wind direction will change from a northerly flow to more of a westerly flow heading into Thursday, which will allow for the clouds to finally start to move out of the area. The sunshine will return to our skies. Temperatures will also begin to warm back up, reaching the mid to upper 50s for highs. The sunshine will persist through Friday with temperatures again on the rise, reaching the mid 60s for highs. Our weekend looks to remain dry and warm. Temperatures for both days will stay in the mid to upper 60s. Our dry stretch looks to continue into the beginning of next week. Temperatures are expected to climb back up into the low 70s! We just have 2 more days of rainy and soggy weather before we get to enjoy the drier and warmer weather that is coming our way!
