TOPEKA (KSNT) - Federal health officials say a food production company is voluntarily recalling some of its meal kits as they may be contaminated with listeria. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced on Oct. 11 that Reser's Fine Foods is recalling a limited amount of its meal kits as an ingredient may have listeria monocytogenes. This is due to the ingredient supplier, BrucePac, which was involved in a recall last week for nearly 10 million pounds of meat and poultry products officials believed contained listeria. Meal kits produced by Reser's Fine Foods were shipped to 30 states, including Kansas. Reser's Fine Foods has stopped using any ingredients from the BrucePac facility impacted by the listeria investigation. What cities will Union Pacific’s ‘Big Boy’ engine visit in Kansas?
