ROSWELL, N.M. (KRQE) – The Roswell Police Department is giving residents the opportunity to get rid of unwanted prescription drugs. As part of the National Prescription Drug Take Back Day, the department will host an event on October 26 at Walgreens on Main Street starting at 10 a.m. Vape devices will also be accepted as long as the batteries have been removed. Rio Rancho Public Schools accepting nominations for Hall of Honor The Santa Fe County Sheriff's Office is hosting a drug takeback event the same day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 35 Camino Justicia. The Rio Rancho Police Department is holding its event from 8 a.m. to noon at 500 Quantum Rd.
