After hurricanes Helene and Milton, San Antonio-based USAA and its members donated nearly $3 million to disaster relief organizations to assist with recovery, according to officials with the financial services giant. Donations went to the American Red Cross, disaster relief non-profit Team Rubicon and World Central Kitchen, USAA officials said. The company made an initial $1 million donation after Helene, then gave an additional $500,000 to military aid societies to help military families affected by the storms.
