Our weather for the upcoming week will be rather uneventful, but we still have some things to talk about – namely, our overnight temperatures through Thursday. Skies are beginning to clear out after what was a cloudy, dreary Monday. Winds are starting to pickup behind the cold front, and temperatures are starting to fall fast. By tomorrow morning, temperatures will drop into the 30s across the area. Daytimes will be in the mid-50s the next few days. As winds subside tomorrow, we will have the opportunity for frost in the coldest spots. Outlying areas will have the best chance, but I won’t rule it out for all on Wednesday and Thursday AM. Skies will be mostly sunny through the end of the week, with no rain in sight into next week. Things will also be warming up by the weekend, where we will be back to 70 by the afternoons! The skies are clearing just in time for a celestial visitor to our skies – the Comet C2023/A3 will be visible through next week. Look west near the horizon just after sunset. The comet will get higher in the sky each day through next Monday, but it will also get fainter.
