UPDATE @ 4:15 P.M. According the Oklahoma City Fire Department, the fire started after the homeowner tried to burn off mulch in the flowerbeds around the house. At one point, the fire grew so large that extra crews had to be brought in. "When we were around the attic area, there was a smoke explosion or flash over, and so at that time we has to pull our firefighters out," said OKCFD Battalion Chief Scott Douglas. The home is expected to be a total loss.
