HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) - The eastbound lanes at the Hampton Roads Bridge-Tunnel have reopened Monday afternoon after being closed for about three hours due to emergency road work. Starting around 1 p.m., the eastbound lanes of the HRBT were closed for work on the Willoughby Bay Bridge. They reopened around 4:10 p.m. Traffic was being diverted at Settlers Landing Road in Hampton. Officials said the closure will remain in place until crews are able to remove an overhead sign structure. Continue to check WAVY.com for updates.
