NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Big time fall weather is on the way over the next few days as a cold front pushes through the area Tuesday night. Ahead of the front expect another warm day Tuesday with mid 80s through the afternoon. Lower humidity moves in Tuesday night as winds increase out of the north behind the front early Wednesday. Some areas could see winds gusting into the 20s. Much cooler weather will move in as well and temperatures will struggle to top 70 by Wednesday afternoon. Expect a chilly morning Thursday with lows in the low 40s north and mid to upper 40s south. Metro Nola will still be in the 50s. Pleasant weather sticks around through Friday before we start to warm up more heading into the weekend. No rain chance anytime soon so conditions will stay very dry.
