KENNER, La. (WGNO) — A Youngsville man has pled guilty in a 2023 child pornography possession case. According to the office of U.S. Attorney Duane Evans, 49-year-old Coy David Miller pled guilty to possession of materials involving the sexual exploitation of minors on Wednesday, Oct. 9. Woman hit, killed in crash on Chef Menteur Highway Court documents state that U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and Homeland Security investigations found Miller to be in possession of child pornography following a search at the Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport on Oct. 17, 2023. Miller was reportedly returning from Cancun, Mexico. Man sentenced to 65 years in Jefferson bank robbery case The district attorney's office reported that Miller is facing up to 20 years in prison, a fine of up to $250,000 and a minimum of five years of supervised release.
