KENNER, La. (WGNO) — It's time to put on those dancing shoes, a Zumba masterclass is heading to Kenner this November! According to event organizers, dancers Dahrio Wonder and Gina Wonder will host a class at the Chateau Golf and Country Club on Nov. 17. 10 Yelp-reviewed spots to get gumbo in Greater New Orleans Attendees can expect to learn from Dahrio Wonder, Gina Wonder, Zumba Education Specialist Erin Spears, Zumba Jammer Katrena Faison and YouTuber and Zumba Instructor Joel Navarro. The event, hosted by Doc and Carol Ann of El Doco Loco Dance Studio, will also include a virtual class and a "Get Down Jam Session" training for licensed Zumba instructors only. Washington Parish Free Fair returns for food, family, fun According to a news release, Gina Wonder started her Zumba career after taking her first class in 2002. Gina Wonder is known for her dancing and choreography and her work with Lil Jon on a Zumba Nightclub series. The release states that Dahrio Wonder is a San Francisco-Bay Area native who has worked as a dancer and choreographer with artists including Britney Spears, Madonna, Jamie Foxx, An'gela Winbush and Celia Cruz. Dahrio Wonder is also known for collaborating on Zumba "volume hit songs" like "Overtime" and "Get Up."
