MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- Police have arrested a woman accused of setting several fires in Midtown on Monday morning, resulting in nearly $100,000 worth of damage. Memphis fire investigators said the 35-year-old suspect set nine minivans and a storage building on fire in the 600 block of Philadelphia and said the flames also damaged a fence and storage building. The loss was around $44,000. Philadelphia Street fire. WREG photo Police said the same woman allegedly set towels and grass on fire at 15 E. Parkway and tried to set some gas pumps on fire at a gas station in the 2200 block of Union Avenue. Investigators believe she also started a fire at a business at Union and Kimbrough. The fire caused about $35,000 worth of damage to vehicles and property. The suspect, who was not named by the fire department, was taken into custody and transported to the Regional One Medical Center. She is facing arson charges.
