SLINGER, Wis. (WFRV) — Authorities are investigating a bomb threat that led to the evacuation of a high school and an elementary school in Slinger on Monday. The Slinger Police Department reported that a high school student informed the School Resource Officer of a social media post indicating a bomb threat at Slinger High School. After discussing the situation, law enforcement and school officials decided to evacuate both Slinger High School and Slinger Elementary School as a precaution. 60-year-old man arrested after allegedly pointing gun at two people in Wisconsin High school students and staff were dismissed for the day, while elementary students were transported to Slinger Middle School. Bomb-detecting K9s from the Cedarburg Police Department, Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office, Milwaukee Police Department, and Wisconsin State Patrol conducted a thorough sweep of the high school, elementary school, and football field. No suspicious items were found.
