Northerly and northwesterly winds delivered a cool fall day across the regions with high temperatures rising to near the 60° mark. The chill in the air increases tonight and, with a weather system moving through, some areas may get in on some scattered rain. Temperatures fall through the 50s and 40s tonight with morning lows in the upper 30s. Temperatures won't be in the 30s until near sunrise. Tuesday has some sunshine in store with partly cloudy skies. It will be breezy with gusts up to 20 mph and a slight chance for a rain shower as our current weather system departs. It will be colder than today, with highs in the mid-50s. Low temperatures Tuesday night into Wednesday will fall into the mid-30s and some frost will be likely across the region. With temps as low as the low-to-mid-30s in some places Wednesday morning, frost will develop in spots across the region. Our pattern of chilly fall afternoons continues on Wednesday as well, with high temps still in the 50s then. Overnight lows most of this week will be in the 30s, and the coldest of these nights will be Wednesday night into Thursday morning. Low temps early Thursday morning will be as low as freezing. Frost is unlikely Monday night into Tuesday morning. The highest frost potential of the week comes late night Wednesday into early Thursday morning. High temperatures rise out of the 50s after Wednesday. A warmer flow of air starts up from the southwest and high temperatures increase into the 60s for the remainder of the workweek, and 70s over the weekend.
