Allred to visit El Paso for campaign stop this week

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) -- U.S. Rep. Colin Allred, D-Texas, the Democrat challenging Republican U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz in the Nov. 5 election, will be making a campaign stop this week in El Paso, his campaign said.
Allred, who represents a Dallas area district in the U.S. House of Representatives, will be in El Paso on Wednesday, Oct. 16, his campaign said. Allred will be making an appearance at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Philanthropy Theatre, 125 W. Mills Ave.
Allred will be making campaign stops throughout the state this week ahead of early voting starting Monday, Oct. 12 across Texas, his campaign said. The campaign stops are part of a get-out-the-vote effort.
