(WIVB) -- Vice President and Democratic presidential hopeful Kamala Harris is set take the stage for her rally Monday night at the Erie Insurance Arena in Erie County, Pennsylvania. Pennsylvania Senator John Fetterman will also be in attendance to galvanize voters just weeks before Election Day on Nov. 5. Seats started to fill the arena as of 6 p.m., with Harris expected to speak later this evening. There is currently no set time of when she will take the stage, but it's expected to happen in the next couple of hours, as the event goes until 9 p.m. Monday night’s rally comes just days after a New York Times and Siena College poll showed that Harris is polling ahead of former president and Republican candidate Donald Trump by three percent. Pennsylvania, being a battleground state with 19 electoral votes, is essential in the race for presidency. Political experts have called Erie County a bellwether region as its support often gives insight into who will ultimately win the presidency. Trump, who's rallying in Philadelphia tonight, was also in Erie County just two weeks ago for his own campaign event on Sept. 29.
