Editor's note: This story contains some graphic information that may be difficult to read.A woman arrested after Kentucky State Police found her mother's dismembered body lying behind their Robertson County home on Oct. 9 now faces new charges. Court records show 32-year-old Torilena Fields was scheduled for a court appearance Monday morning. However, she didn't appear because she had not yet been served a new indictment which includes new charges filed against her. According to her new indictment, Torilena now faces one charge of murder and one charge related to torturing a dog. The indictment, filed Monday, says Torilena allegedly shot her mother, 68-year-old Trudy Fields, in the head then stabbed her multiple times. It also provides new details about the other charges Torilena had already faced: Obstructing governmental operations, tampering with physical evidence and abuse of a corpse. "It's one thing to find out your family member's been murdered, but you know it's a whole other thing... for the details and stuff," said Olivia Brock, Trudy's niece. "It's just literally unimaginable... is unimaginable."She joined two of the victims' siblings at the Harrison County Justice Center for Torilena's scheduled arraignment, unaware of the judge's decision to dismiss it. Olivia Brock said she and her family are still struggling to comprehend the allegations. They said Torilena was a talented person, having grown up skilled on the piano and excelling at sports. She'd been raised on the farm, helping to raise chickens and horses before moving out to California with her brother to pursue a career in acting. Torilena spent a few years successfully landing roles in low-budget films and other productions before suffering a severe brain injury in a motorcycle crash a few months ago, Olivia Brock said. "She was, I guess, wandering around Cali, didn't know her name, didn't know where she belonged and I guess there were people trying to get her help down there but just couldn't get it done so that's when Trudy stepped in to help," Olivia Brock said.Torilena had returned to Robertson County in August, but the extended family didn't know that until recently, Olivia Brock said.Kentucky State Police said in a release that troopers were called to a home on Brierly Ridge Road just before 12:30 p.m. Wednesday after dispatchers received a call regarding a dead body. Casting spells and cooked body parts: NKY woman in custody after mother's dismembered body foundWhen they got there, they discovered a dismembered body and multiple body parts cooked inside a stainless steel pot inside the oven at the Roberton County home. Torilena's indictment says the body parts in the pot belonged to Trudy. Torilena "intentionally treated the corpse of Trudy Fields in a way that would outrage ordinary family sensibilities by ... dismembering ... the corpse of Trudy Fields and placing her head, hands, feet and forearms in a pot in the oven and heating them until they were charred," reads the indictment. She also intentionally tortured and killed a dog, the indictment says. A man who had arrived to work on Trudy's property called Kentucky State Police last week when he said Fields did not answer the door when he knocked, the KSP citation reads. When he walked around to the back of the home to locate Trudy, he told dispatchers he found a pile of hair that appeared to be Trudy's along with a blood-stained mattress and drag marks in the grass.The man told dispatchers he followed the drag marks to the backyard, where he found what he believed to be Trudy's dismembered body lying in the grass.KSP troopers said when they arrived, they did discover Trudy's dismembered body lying near a blood-stained mattress, which had multiple body parts and organs on it. They also witnessed a blood-stained stick and another mattress on the back porch.The man told KSP he had last seen Trudy one day earlier when she accompanied them to her property gate. He said Trudy and Torilena were the only people at the home and noted that Torilena was "casting spells on them and being confrontational," according to a police report."Witchcraft, fingernails and just do different stuff. Whatever witchcraft is but I heard she was into it, yeah," said Todd Brock, Trudy's brother. "I think somebody lost control of their mind. Had to have something planned out or satanism or had their brain washed."The Kentucky State Police Special Response Team was called to the scene and a search warrant was obtained for the home. When they entered, KSP said Torilena refused to exit and had to be removed from the home following multiple uses of tear gas at around 11 p.m. Wednesday.KSP said Torilena appeared to have blood on her face, hands and clothes."Obviously everybody's angry and confused as to why but how do you say, 'I'm so sad and I want justice for my family member, but I'm so sad because is my other family member not OK?'" Olivia Brock said. The Brocks described Trudy as a loving and selfless woman who always prioritized the needs of the family. Her sister Diana Brock said she was a godly, Christian woman who upheld the highest moral standards for herself and others around her. "She was a hard worker get on the phone, something's going on, I don't care if you lost a tooth and, yeah, nothing's too small," she said.As Diana Brock and the rest of the family grapple with the grisly nature of the alleged crime they shared a heartfelt message for Torilena, who is currently being held in a reserved room at the Bourbon County Detention Center. "We never stop loving her. No matter what, you know," Diana Brock said. "We don't understand... we don't disown people, no matter what you've done. We love and that's what God says. You know you love no matter what, unconditionally and we just support the family and that's what we're trying to do."The Harrison County judge entered a not guilty plea on Torilena's behalf. She is being held on a $1.5 million bond, according to her indictment. Her next court date is scheduled for Oct. 23 at 8:30 a.m. in Robertson County.
